When: Saturday, July 1st, noon to 4PM (and later) Where: The College of Computing Commons (the "Picnic Area") WWW: http://cyberbuzz.gatech.edu/lug/ OK, we're here to stay. We are Tech students helping Tech students learn more about Linux. This Saturday, July 1st, we'll help you install Linux onto your syste. We'll install it on own terms, and we won't delete Windows if you need both operating systems. Once you've gotten used to the stability and power of Linux, we don't think you'll go back. Meet us; we will tell you all that you want to know about Linux. To get in touch, send E-Mail to: lugatgt@cyberbuzz.gatech.edu, or visit http://cyberbuzz.gatech.edu/lug/ _________________________ Attending the InstallFest: The College of Computing (CoC) is located on Atlantic Drive, between the Petit Microelectronics Building and Cherry Emerson Building, and across from the Howey Physics Building. Campus Map: http://gtalumni.org/campusmap/bldngmodel.asp?imageName=bldngpic&bldngID=50 The CoC Commons Area (aka the "Picnic Area") is located inside the CoC. From the street-level entrance, turn left and follow the hall until you reach a room full of tables. _____________ What To Bring (if you plan to have Linux installed): You do not need to bring your system to attend the InstallFest! Just show up and we'll answer any questions you have about Linux. A limited supply of free Linux CDs will be available. If you plan on having Linux installed on your system at the InstallFest, you need only bring your base system; however, due to the limited availability of monitors and keyboards, you may wish to bring your own monitor and keyboard if you have the transportation to do so. We hope to see you there! - The Linux Users Group @ Georgia Tech lugatgt@cyberbuzz.gatech.edu http://cyberbuzz.gatech.edu/lug/
